This summer, Steve Uliss, owner of three Firefly’s restaurants, is offering healthy grilling tips in evening classes ($35 for a 1 1/2-hour class, with a family-style meal). He’s living proof that you can eat well off the grill: He lost 40 pounds working with registered dietitian Tricia Silverman, who will assist at the classes. They use the grill to cook fruits and vegetables, adding spices instead of oils and butters, steaming, and offering low-fat marinades. Grilling classes will be held on July 14 at Firefly’s Framingham, 235 Old Connecticut Path; Aug. 11 at Firefly’s Quincy, 516 Adams St.; and Aug. 25 at Firefly’s Marlborough, 350 East Main St. For reservations, call 508-357-6393.
