Serves 4
These lightly sweetened apple slices can accompany pork chops or roast chicken. Or spoon them into a bowl and add vanilla yogurt for a slimming dessert.
| 3 | tablespoons butter |
| 4 | baking apples (see list), peeled, cored, and cut into thick slices |
| 1 | tablespoon sugar, or more to taste |
