There are no zoning laws or building permits for architects and engineers to wrangle with for the “Canstruction’’ project, just a lot of canned goods and good will. Seventeen Boston-area design and construction firms built large structures from cans of food using the theme “Eat the Art.’’ Throughout the Bunker Hill Community College campus, visitors will find a sushi boat, the “Ghostbusters’’ logo, a few Warhol pieces, and more. Winners were to be announced yesterday. The cans will be donated to the Greater Boston Food Bank. Today, 9 a.m.-10 p.m. (through Nov. 6). Free. Bunker Hill Community College, 250 New Rutherford Ave., Charlestown. 617-228-2093. www.bhcc.mass.edu
