Despite a soggy start to the season that hurt the local pumpkin crops, Arlington’s Farmers’ Market is hoping to finish up on a high note this Wednesday.

After kicking off during June, the market holds its final appearance from 1 to 6:30 p.m. in Russell Common parking lot on Mystic Avenue and Chestnut Street.

Market manager Patsy Kraemer said farmers report sales were off from previous years, in part due to heavy rain that damaged some crops.
