This garlicky shrimp dish is the best-selling item on Jaleo’s menu.
|2||tablespoons olive oil|
|2||cloves garlic, thinly sliced|
|1||pound large shrimp, peeled with tails intact|
|1||guindilla chili pepper (or your favorite dried chili pepper)|
|Juice of 1/2 lemon|
|1||tablespoon chopped fresh parsley|
|Salt, to taste|
2. Lay the shrimp and chili pepper in the pan. Cook, without moving, for 2 minutes. Turn the shrimp and cook 2 minutes more.
3. Pour in the brandy and lemon juice. Cook 1 minute.
4. Remove from the heat. Sprinkle with parsley and salt. Adapted from Jaleo
