Wines for the tasting were purchased from Bauer Wine & Spirits, Back Bay (617-262-0363), Busa Wine & Spirits, Lexington (781-862-1400), Curtis Liquors, South Weymouth (781-331-2345), Harvard General Store, Harvard (978-430-0062), and Shubie’s, Marblehead (781-631-0149). Most of the bottles have good distribution in our area. Check with your local wine shop, and if they don’t have the wine you’re looking for, they can probably get it for you. Tasting notes are from sommeliers Betsy Ross, Chris Graeff, and Liz Vilardi, and Globe wine writer Stephen Meuse.
