There are two pumpkin beer festivals this week that you don't want to miss. The big one, of course, is Cambridge Brewing Company's Great Pumpkin Festival on Sat. Oct. 27. The event runs from 1 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and will feature close to 40 pumpkin beers on tap. CBC makes many of their own special beers for the event, and considering how many crazy pictures I've seen of brewmaster Will Myers putting various kinds of gourds into beer on Twitter, I'm excited for the results. The event will feature a pumpkin-Inspired menu from executive chef David Drew. Admission is $10 and beer and food tickers are available once you are inside. Childen are welcome from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

-- Tommy Doyle’s in Harvard Square is hosting Pumpkinfest 2012, on Weds., October 24 beginning at 7 p.m. The event will feature 11 pumpkin beers on tap and will be paired with a three-course casual dinner. Tickets are available online.
