My new satchel

Food page contributor Beatrice Peltre, a writer, stylist, and photographer, went home to France in the Fall and returned with two of these beautiful satchels for me. In France, they're sold in all the markets -- everyone takes bags to the supermarket -- and these have a wide bottom so they don't tip over when full.

Bea (pronounced bay-ah) loves to shop for tableware, she told me, and writes about things she loves for a shopping website. So the next time you see something in her photos that you like, you may be able to find it.

The bags, of course, require a plane ticket and rental car.
