Boston vs. New York

New York blogger and author Ed Levine and I square off in today's Food section, as we both offer what's great about our regions in a kind of Food Super Bowl. New York, writes Levine, is the king of pastrami, pizza (above, at Totonno's on Coney Island), and heros. Boston's greats include oysters, fried clams, lobster rolls, ice cream, and roast beef sandwiches (below, Kelly's in Revere).

Levine gets in the last word today and because this is the land of civility, I'm going to let him.
