Tam Tam-free Passover

Why is this year different from all other years? There will be no Tam Tam crackers.

The New York Times reports that engineering delays involving a new oven at Manischewitz's Newark facility meant the company had to either reduce the amount of product they turned out this season, or temporarily eliminate certain items.

They chose to push the pause button on products including White Grape Matzo and Concord Grape Matzo. Who even knew those existed?

The company says Tam Tams will be back on shelves by late April or early May. In other words, too late. Passover starts at sundown on April 19.
