Pick-your-owns are gearing up, and restaurants are celebrating. Here are some upcoming strawberry-related events.

June 14-29, more than a dozen restaurants partner with the Federation of Massachusetts Farmers Markets for a Strawberry Dessert Festival. The restaurants will donate part of the proceeds to the nonprofit. Restaurants include: 51 Lincoln, Avila, Beacon Hill Bistro, Bella Luna, Bistro 5, Chez Henri, Davio's, The Fireplace, Flora, Highland Kitchen, Lineage, Lumiere, Persephone, Tomasso Trattoria, and UpStairs on the Square. Garden at the Cellar is doing a savory strawberry dish, and Whole Foods locations will donate 10 percent of the proceeds from sales of strawberry-rhubarb pies.

On June 15, there will be Father's Day strawberry picking with strawberry-themed activities at Drumlin Farm in Lincoln.

Speaking of UpStairs on the Square, June 17 and 18 the restaurant hosts Strawberry Night, with a four-course menu for $55. Strawberries will be served with foie gras, in a goat cheese salad, in a compote with rhubarb that pairs with salmon and white asparagus, and in a strawberry cake.

June 21 is Verrill Farm's Strawberry Festival, from 12-4 p.m. There will be homemade strawberry shortcake, sing-alongs, hay rides, and a culinary yard sale to benefit Share Our Strength.
