Two good things to do with your Monday night

Posted by Devra First June 6, 2008 06:23 PM

This coming Monday, June 9, brings two worthy restaurant events of completely different stripes:

La Morra hosts a dinner for Operation Frontline, with all of the proceeds going to Share Our Strength. It starts at 6 p.m. After passed appetizers and cocktails, there will be a six-course dinner prepared by La Morra chef Josh Ziskin and guest chefs including Andy Husbands, Marc Orfaly, Tony Susi, Dave Punch, Lee Napoli, and Maura Kilpatrick. Annie Copps, a food editor at Yankee Magazine, MCs. Minimum donation $125.

And Toro presents a "Cambridge Young Guns" dinner. Chef-owner Ken Oringer will be joined by guest chefs Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar and Greg Reeves of Green Street. The dinner will showcase New England produce. It benefits your stomach and should be a lot of fun.
