Sardinian cooking lesson

This is Efisio Farris, who was born in Sardinia, and now owns two restaurants, Arcodoro in Houston, Texas, and Arcodoro & Pomodoro in Dallas. He is also author of "Sweet Myrtle & Bitter Honey."
Farris will be in Boston tomorrow teaching the cooking of his native island at Stir. The class is sold out. But if you want to try Farris's cooking, you can always buy the book.
In the Spring, I went to a terrific Sardinian restaurant in San Francisco called La Ciccia. The wife (below left) is in front of the house and her husband is at the stove and besides beautiful seafood and pasta dishes, they offered wines from their region and plenty of charm.
