Buy a piece of L'Espalier

Posted by Devra First August 21, 2008 06:53 PM

The restaurant is moving out of its Gloucester Street brownstone and into the Mandarin Oriental hotel. The last night in the old place -- site of many engagements and much well-heeled hobnobbing -- is Aug. 30.

If you proposed to your spouse there, closed that big deal over the Chef's Tasting Journey, have memorized the lyrics to the Cheese Song, or simply enjoyed your share of fine meals there over the years, perhaps you'd like a memento. L'Espalier is selling its dining room chairs. Armless seats are available for $150 each, armed (but not dangerous) for $180. Commemorative and useful!
