Eat the fish, save the fish

Posted by Devra First August 22, 2008 05:37 PM

The New England Aquarium's "Celebrate Seafood" dinner series continues Aug. 26 with guest chef Jason Bond of Beacon Hill Hotel & Bistro.

The series promotes ecologically sound seafood consumption by bringing in chefs from area restaurants to prepare sustainable fish and shellfish. Bond's dinner will feature farm-raised clams, wild-caught mahi mahi, and wild, hand-captured scallops.

Other upcoming dinners in the series include:

Oct. 7: Paul O’Connell of Chez Henri prepares farm-raised mussels, wild-caught Alaskan salmon, and farm-raised cobia.

Nov. 18: Will Gilson of Garden at the Cellar prepares farm-raised oysters, wild-caught striped mullet, and farm-raised barramundi.
