Franklin Part 3

Dave Dubois of the Franklin Cafe confirms a third branch of the restaurant will be opening, planned for mid-November.

It's in the Allele condos, where a Jae's Cafe and a Tapeo were previously rumored to be moving in. This one will be called Franklin-Southie, according to Dubois. Its opening won't affect the Franklin Cafes in the South End and Gloucester. Allele dwellers must be pretty pleased -- with its reasonably priced comfort food and good cocktails, the Franklin is an excellent place to have as your in-house restaurant, particularly if it serves dinner till 1:30 like the South End one does.
