On Saturday, Sept. 13th, several Boston-area MDs will pair up with local chefs at a Gluten-Free Cooking Spree. Sponsored by the National Foundation for Celiac Awareness, the event takes place at the Back Bay Events Center at 180 Berkeley St., Boston, from 7:30-10 p.m. Information and tickets are here.

Another event, the Third Annual Gluten-Free Culinary Summit, will take place Sept. 19-21 in Providence, R.I. The summit will include hands-on holiday-focused baking classes and dinner out (always a challenge for gluten-free customers). Information is here.
