Palin on the cob

At the Corn Maze at the Butterfly House in Whitehouse, Ohio, a 16-acre corn maze has been carved in the likeness of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
It looks really easy to get lost in the updo!

Corn Maze to No Where - how much did that cost the taxpayers? Or did she cancel the project and just keep the money??
What is the relevance of this? But I say 'live and let live.'
why?!
I think that's really cool. Around here, when they do those mazes, the proceeds usually go for charity. Sarah is a phenomenon. She seems like just a nice American girl, kind of in the vein of the pioneer woman. Sorry she isn't sophisticated and nasty enough to suit so many modern people.
Gov. Palin did not pay for this sculpture in the corn; the farmer did. And it's not a maze...just an image (though the farmer is considering having the maze cutter come back and turn it into a maze). People find different ways to support the candidates they like. This is one way!
To bad she's not in her bikini....or pregnant again. That would make it a little more interesting. I always knew she was a little corny.
No, she is sophisticated.... she just isn't the right one!
She seems like a nice lady who is good at running a small town. She seems like a great mother as well - I really wouldn't know but I'll give her the benefit of a doubt. However, I do not think she is capable in any way to run our country.
I think it is really neat!! I also think that she will be a very good vice president. If she can raise a family and be governor, then she can sure be vice president and do a wonderful job. McCain did a great job on picking a woman for his running mate!!

The Recipe Box Project:
If you want to contribute a recipe to The Recipe Box Project, please write it below. Also tell us where you got it (package box, cookbook, mom, friend -- include the name). We're looking for the kinds of dishes that people grew up on, that were served at family suppers, that tell a story, that are typically New England, or that you brought with you from a far away place to New England. We will print one of the recipes in the Food section once a month. To ask any questions, write to Debra Samuels, who is overseeing this project, at recipebox@globe.com.
