Verrill Farm destroyed by fire

The building at the Concord farm burned down today. No one was seriously hurt, but the building is a "total loss," according to NECN. Their video below:

  1. this is completely devastating. this farm is crucial to the farm-to-table dining in boston.

  1. While the fire destroyed their stand, the farm lives on. They were open for business on Monday, operating out of a wagon alongside the road, much as they did before their farm stand opened. I think they are still delivering to restaurants. I also was told about their blog, which I visit every day (http://verrillfarm.wordpress.com). The spirit of these folks amazes me.
