Posted by Devra First November 11, 2008 12:59 PM

Locke-Ober is now offering a three-course prix fixe lunch "for a budget-friendly price."

For $25, you'll get a starter, an entree, a dessert, and unlimited old-Boston atmosphere.

Here's a sample menu:

Sugar Pumpkin Bisque
Arugula and Endive Salad with Warm Gorgonzola Dolce

Roasted Chicken Breast with Sherried Chanterelles
Steak Sandwich with Sun-dried Tomato Aioli
Crusted Broiled Boston Schrod
Sauteed Halibut with Cauliflower Fritters

Soft Chocolate Cake with Fresh Raspberries

The press release notes the menu is "appropriate for the business diner, tourist and Bostonians who have always wanted to dine at Locke-Ober." (Unstated ending of sentence: but were priced out.)
