Bottled or tap?

Posted by Sheryl Julian May 5, 2009 10:56 AM

polandspring.jpgLooks like New York isn't going to spend money on bottled water for their government offices anymore. Gov. David Paterson is issuing an order to stop buying water and start drinking water from the tap. Corporate Accountability International, which this year started Think Outside the Bottle Campaign, is pleased with the announcement, it said in a press release. They had asked governors in 50 states to stop spending state budget funds on water. In Boston, we've noticed, we no longer get hostile looks from waiters when we ask for tap water. And best of all, we no longer have an extra $10 on the bill from all those bottles. Governor Patrick, are you next?
