So you thought you could cook
How about inviting this chef to taste your food? Gordon Ramsay, as you know, does not mince words. At least not on "Hell's Kitchen" or "Kitchen Nightmares." His Brit wit is cutting. He screams insults and yet the reviewers seem to like it.
Now the producers of "The Biggest Loser" are starting another Gordon Ramsay show with the working title of MasterChef. It launched in England and was a hit. You have to cook for a hobby and have no restaurant experience in order to qualify. Professional chefs are not welcome.
Whip up your favorite dish (what on earth does an aspiring contestant make for something like this?) and contact masterchefcastingboston@yahoo.com to see if you're welcome in the first round on Jan. 10 in Newton Highlands.
If you don't get in, consider yourself saved from a few rounds of browbeating.
