
Cosby owned the airwaves
Bill Cosby might not have had the coaching skills of Red Auerbach, but he still had the parenting know-how. By 1986, NBC's The Cosby Show had finished up its second season. The comedian became known by his sweaters and the Huxtables were soon crowned America's favorite family. The sitcom would go on to become the No. 1-watched show every year for the rest of the '80s.
