Radiant heating Although it may involve remodeling and can be a pricey process, installing radiant heating in your home has been known to cut heating bills by 20 to 40 percent over time. Rehau, a polymer manufacturer out of Virginia produce RauPanel (left), a 'dry' heating system that can be placed under carpeting or ceramic tile. Since heat rises, radiant heating is an excellent way to adequately heat an enclosed space without worrying about adjusting a thermostat.
