Here's Beth Daley's story in today's Boston Globe on the slippery borders between green, highly valued by earth-conscious consumers, and "faux green,'' or greenwashing.
If you want more on green living, here are a few tips on recycling and other issues from Meaghan O'Neill, editor-at-large of TreeHugger.com and PlanetGreen.com, and Dara Olmsted, renewable energy coordinator of the Harvard Green Campus Initiative.

I'd like to see biodegradable diapers. Certainly science can give us a disposable diaper that won't last 30 years in a landfill! Is it too much to ask? ( I know issues with chemicals like chlorine in the diaper prevent its degrading quickly in a landfill, but I know the'd be lots of parents who would buy them if someone figured out how to do it)
