Cape Wind's place in the world

The final federal decision on Nantucket Sound's wind farm could be out this fall - seven years after the project was first proposed. If it is approved, it still may not be built: Cape Wind, the project's developer, will likely be facing multiple lawsuits from people who don't like the aesthetics of 130 turbines off Cape Cod.

There is a good, where-we-are-at story about offshore wind in the most recent BusinessWeek that makes the point that offshore wind - like it or not - is coming.
