Editorial: T's $8.1 billion debt burden unfair

The Patrick administration make a deal with the Turnpike Authority, but the MBTA actually has been the better financial manager -- and that in spite being saddled an $8.1 billion debt, the interest from which consumes 27 percent of the T's operating budget.
