Higher July prices = more bus riders in Lowell

Posted by David Beard, Boston.com Staff August 20, 2008 09:45 AM

It will be interesting to see if the MBTA's July figures show a similar rise.

Also curious to see if the public transit ridership will still rise with energy prices plateauing -- those $4-a-gallon pump charges last month are now averaging about $3.75.
