Are rising global temperatures linked to civil conflict?
On Oct. 30, Nathan Black, French Environmental Fellow at Harvard University Center for the Environment, will lead a discussion the link between climate change and civil unrest and explore how governments' response can exacerbate or defuse violent conflict around the world.
The Heat and Violence talk, as part of MIT Museum's Soap Box series, will be held at the Mark Epstein Innovation Gallery on Tuesday, October 30th at 6:00 p.m.
Soap Box is an interactive series in which participants of all backgrounds converse with top scientists or engineers in an informal café-style setting at the MIT Museum.
