Financial swindlers like Bernie Madoff often rely on their ingenuity, but are creative types more likely to lie, cheat, and steal? Francesca Gino, an associate professor of business administration at Harvard Business School, decided to conduct a series of experiments with several hundred college students to determine whether creativity and intelligence play a role in lowering ethical standards when it comes to making money.
