Have you ever seen anything like this before? If you've been reading this blog for a bit, you know that I like to run on the treadmill. Well, after I saw this video, I'd like to try dancing on my treadmill in the morning! This lady makes it look easy and fun. I, on the other hand, have little coordination and would likely wind up face-planting (and no one likes an early-morning face-plant do they?).

But this video got me thinking about the fitness things I'd like to try. While dancing on the treadmill may take some time to master, here are some of my other "fitness bucket list" items:

Trapeze classes
As someone who loves to rock climb, this type of class appeals to my love of trying things that get my heart racing in a different way. Flying through the air looks fun, but this class seems like it may also help with my lack of grace.

Surfing for fitness

This class, the first of which was held at Boston Athletic Club in South Boston a while back, looks fun but also tough. Imagine doing cardio and strength moves while you're balancing on a virtual surfboard that moves and rocks like the real thing. If that wouldn't help improve my balance, I don't know what would.

Piloxing

Savin Hill Yoga is holding a demo I'd like to go to for something called "piloxing." Described as a new combination of Pilates and non-contact boxing moves, this sounds like just the class to keep me from getting bored.

What are some of the moves on your "fitness bucket list?" Need more exercise ideas? Check out these reader-suggestions.
