Maybe my suggestion for something fit to do this weekend caught my eye because I've started a running program. Or maybe it's because it includes yoga. Whatever the reason, this class just sounds interesting to me.
Instructor JoAnna Sullivan has completed two marathons and is a 200-hour yoga teacher trained at YogaWorks and Back Bay Yoga. This class, she said, is designed to reverse the harsh impact of running on muscles, bones, and joints.
This 5-week series of Saturday classes starts at 10 a.m. and lasts until 11:30 a.m. The cost is $50 for five weeks or you can pay a $12 drop-in rate. Bring your own mat or rent one.
