A while back, we told you about the ambitious campaign launched by Mayor Thomas M. Menino to improve the health and fitness of Boston, called Boston Moves for Health.

As part of the initiative, the mayor has challenged residents to lose one million pounds and move 10 million miles.

Now, the city is offering the chance to throw out the first pitch at Fenway Park for joining the mayor's challenge.

Participants in the Boston Moves for Health program have a chance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Red Sox-White Sox game on July 18.

To enter the contest, register at BostonMovesForHealth.org and log at least three activities by noon on Friday, July 13. The winner will be notified by Monday, July 16, and will also receive two tickets to the game and a Boston Moves for Health T-shirt.

Will you join? While you're at it, why don't you submit a photo or video of yourself doing your favorite kind of exercise, too, for a chance to be featured on Boston.com.
