I asked each of my Adams to give a little update on how their training is going now that we have all settled on a date for our race, are working on our #plankADay planks, and are generally ready to run.

I'm letting the fellas easy in to their training for now, but, as they will find out, they will slowly start ramping up what they think they can or should run in the next week or so.

Here's Adam 12's update:

So far, so good w/the training. Ran 3 miles this past Wednesday & Saturday; have a pair of 3-mile runs scheduled for this week. And lucky for me, 2013 is off to a great start musically, so I've been running to some fantastic new songs. Feel free to incorporate these into your own personal workout mix (looking at you, Adam Salsman!)

Frightened Rabbit "The Woodpile"

Fantastic band from Scotland. The chorus soars, providing a nice kick-in-the-pants when you need it.

Local Natives "Breakers"

And, "Heavy Feet"

Couple of good, mid-tempo tracks from their new album, out at the end of the month.

Ra Ra Riot "Dance With Me"

And "Valerie"

"Dance With Me" is brand new & will make you move. "Valerie" is a cover of the old Steve Winwood song. Trust me, it works.
