SHOPPING TIP OF THE DAY

On a treasure hunt

Whenever we watch PBS's "Antiques Roadshow," we feel like sorting through our old junk to see if we have something worth millions. Maybe our husbands' '70s bowling shoes? This weekend, more than 160 dealers from the US and Canada are bringing their old junk (some of it dating to the mid-18th century) to the Greater Boston Antiques Festival. The Baroque chest of drawers ($7,100) and case clock ($11,200) might be out of your price range, but considering the assortment of books, pottery, jewelry, maps, and glassware, there's bound to be something for you. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (Sun until 4 p.m.). $8. Shriner's Auditorium, Exit 39 off I-93, Wilmington. 781-862-4039. neantiqueshows.com
