FLOOR SHOW
Though we're well into 2009, it's not too late to ring out the old and bring in some new furniture. February is floor sample month at Circle Furniture, and select pieces from brands including American Leather, Ekornes, and Company C will be 20 to 70 percent off. Look for blowout prices at the Hanover store, whose stock is being moved to the newly opened Pembroke location. Circle Furniture is at 199 Alewife Brook Pkwy., Cambridge, 617-876-3988; 2100 Washington St., Hanover, 781-878-0686; and 85 Washington Street, Pembroke, 781-826-2728. STUDIO TREATMENT
Women's retailer the Studio (233 Harvard St., Brookline, 617-738-5091) marks its 30th anniversary this spring and is already in celebration mode: Starting tomorrow, its winter collection will be 60 to 80 percent off, the store's steepest sale yet. Buys include Christopher Blue jeans, Yansi Fugel suits, Lucchese cowboy mules, and plenty of other wears that will see you through the rest of the winter in style.

FIRE SALE
The eclectic, thoughtfully stocked boutique Fire Opal has marked down much of its winter wear: At the Brookline store (320 Harvard St., 617-739-9066), select pieces by Rina Zin, Kisim, and others are 20 to 40 percent off, while at the store's Jamaica Plain location (683 Centre St., 617-524-0262), sweaters, vests, and coats are 20 percent off. Browsing in the Jamaica Plain store, we were also intrigued by the discounted Wallter wall applications, ready-to-paint, adhesive geometric shapes that would seem to add a gallery touch to the apartment.

PAMPERING YOUR PET
If it's nothing but the best for your pet, head to Espeso (1180 Washington St., Boston, 617-670-1200), where just about everything your four-legged friend could need is 15 to 35 percent off. Stylish feeders in wenge, bamboo, and even marble are 15 percent off; bandanas, leashes, and extra-sturdy beds by Arwedson ("for the dog that chews everything," an associate explained) are 25 percent off. Naturally, little coats and sweatshirts are marked down as well.

IT'S EASY WEARING GREEN
While it's chic to be green, eco-fashion is admittedly not always enticing. So we're glad that Envi (164 Newbury St., Boston, 617-267-3684), one of the stores to get it right, is taking 50 percent off its clothes, shoes, and bags. Among the finds: a charcoal wool woodsman coat by Bahar Shahpar, originally $498 (and now $249) and organic-cotton-and-bamboo Canopy Verde bags, originally $88-$268 (now $44-$134).
