Birthday games
To celebrate its 35th birthday, The Games People Play is taking 10 percent off all its board games, puzzles, chess sets, and other table games today until Sunday. As an added nice touch, the store is also offering five-percent sales tax this weekend. The selection runs the gamut from familiar to obscure, and if you expect there will be a backgammon or cribbage aficionado on your holiday shopping list this year, the sale might be a good chance to get a head start.
