If you're house-bound with today's storm and looking for something to do, you might check if you have sports gear you can clean out to make some extra cash. The Friends of Cutler Elementary School in Hamilton are collecting it for a Ski, Skate, Board & Ride Consignment Event next Saturday and Sunday. Gently used skiing, skating, hockey, snowboarding, and horseback riding clothing and equipment for kids and adults are welcome; you can email email@example.com to pre-register as a consignor and drop off the items at Cutler Elementary School (237 Asbury St., South Hamilton) between 4 and 8 p.m. tomorrow or Thursday or between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Friday. (Consignors receive 70 percent of sales.) The actual sale happens this weekend from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and noon to 3 p.m. on Sunday. All are welcome. Find more event details here.
