Thinking outside the box
The theme of the week is “Outside the Box” at the Boston Children’s Museum. Inspired by the exhibit “Blue Man Group—Making Waves!” kids are using everyday objects in unexpected ways. Activities include painting with things that roll, building a bridge out of paper, making musical instruments out of recycled materials, painting yourself to glow under black lights, and more.
Feb. 18--22, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. $14, kids under 12 months free. Boston Children’s Museum, 308 Congress St., Boston. www.bostonchildrensmuseum.org.
