Museum fun for military families
Military families can play for free at museums across New England this summer as part of the Blue Star Museums program. The program, which launched in 2010, is a collaboration between the National Endowment for the Arts, Blue Star Families, the Department of Defense, and more than 2,000 museums across America. Blue Star Museums will offer free admission to all active duty military personnel and their families through September 2. In Massachusetts, participating museums include the Museum of Fine Arts Boston, the JFK Library and Museum, the deCordova Park and Sculpture Museum, and more.
