It’s old, and it's big. The 2008 show is the 132d, with 2,627 dogs entered in 169 breeds and varieties. The dogs are sorted into seven groups. On Monday the hound, terrier, non-sporting, and herding groups trot out. Tuesday night the sporting, toy, working, and best in show are judged.
