Grand dame of wedding fashion Vera Wang is still trying to make brides wearing black happen, but on a smaller scale this time with above-the-elbow opera gloves and accent panels.

Alternative, freeform bouquets made an impression at Oscar de la Renta, giving peonies and calla lilies a break — at least for now.

Gowns in pale pink also made a handful of appearances for those of us who wish to channel Jessica Biel and stage our own mock wedding to Justin Timberlake.
