    1920s-inspired styles are still hot for the upcoming season, with deco era embellishments and headpieces playing heavy roles on the runway.

    Sweetheart, boatneck, and plunge necklines may still be in favor, but this season, the delicate, feminine, and romantic illusion neckline stands strong.

    It’s also always a good time for pockets — designer Angel Sanchez (pictured) knows what’s up, tucking inconspicuous pockets into the folds of his designs for brides to stash day-of essentials.

    Grand dame of wedding fashion Vera Wang is still trying to make brides wearing black happen, but on a smaller scale this time with above-the-elbow opera gloves and accent panels.

    Alternative, freeform bouquets made an impression at Oscar de la Renta, giving peonies and calla lilies a break — at least for now.
