October 26: Jay Leno returned to Boston to host a fete for the National Braille Press at the InterContinental Boston Hotel, an event that raised $1.4 million for the Boston-based nonprofit. In addition to his thirty-minute stand-up routine, the Andover native emptied the pockets of locals through the auction and got General Motors to donate a Cadillac for a raffle. Then it was back to Los Angeles, he said, for work.
