May 21: Senator Edward M. Kennedy and his wife Victoria enjoyed a light moment at the annual Profile in Courage Awards at the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum. The 2007 winners were Doris Voitier, superintendent of Louisiana's St. Bernard Parish; and Houston mayor Bill White. Both were honored for their responses in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
