Bill and Kerry Brett's 'Inspirational Women'

An award-winning journalist, Mary was coanchor of the long-running Chronicle, beginning in 1984 with Peter Mehegan and later with Anthony Everett. She joined WCVB in 1980 as a news reporter and anchor and served as the host of the former weekly public affairs show Five on Five. For a decade she cohosted the annual Holiday at the Pops! concert as well as the popular Pops Goes the Fourth! celebration at the Hatch Shell.
