"Busy as a beaver," the old saying goes, and at Beaver Summer Programs, children ages 3-15 build unforgettable summer day camp experiences on the lovely 17-acre campus of Beaver County Day School in Chestnut Hill. One camper says, "I love how many different activities and specialty camps they have each summer."

Beaver offers one- or two- week specialty camps for ages 6-15 with the fanciful names of Flying Fantasy Circus Camp, Extreme Sports, and Beaver Off-Broadway. The two-week general camp sessions for ages 3-13 include swimming in three outdoor heated pools and more than 35 different activities, ranging from woodworking and fine and performing arts to rock climbing and archery. A dynamic program led by nurturing staff helps kids build lasting friendships in a safe and supportive environment. "Our goal at Beaver is to provide children with many opportunities to play, shine, and experience personal growth," says director Nat Saltonstall.

Beaver Summer Programs has been offering memorable summer experiences since 1946, with many families returning year after year. For more information, contact Beaver Summer Programs, www.bcdcamp.org, 617-738-2763.
