In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, Boston.com asked readers to send in their “urban limericks.” The poems had to follow the traditional five-line Irish form and be related to Boston. After receiving scores of submissions, we had Atlantic poetry editor David Barber cull his 10 favorite entries.

From there, over 800 readers chose the best entry. One little "rorcester" from Worcester crowed a bit louder than the rest. Here are the top 10, in order of highest votes.
