In celebration of St. Patricks Day, each year Boston.com asks readers to send in their urban limericks. The poems have to follow the traditional five-line Irish form and be related to Boston. After receiving scores of submissions in 2008, we had Atlantic poetry editor David Barber cull his 10 favorite entries.
From there, over 800 readers chose the best entry. One little "rorcester" from Worcester crowed a bit louder than the rest. Here are the top 10, in order of highest votes.
