Instead of shelling out the cash for someone to spin records and lead "The Electric Slide" or paying a band to play Stevie Wonder songs (not that there's anything wrong with that), why not take a personal approach? Make iPod playlists or CD mixes of songs that mean something to you — and songs that get people on the dance floor. All you need to find is a decent pair of speakers to plug in to, and you're off.
