The Salisbury Council on Aging Telephone Reassurance and Friendly Visitor Program is available for residents who are homebound and in need of company. The program offers either a friendly phone call or a visit several times a month from a volunteer. Callers can help with personal correspondence and other activities, including playing games or cards. The program is staffed by trained volunteers who can provide assistance to residents who are lonely or isolated, as well as those who are ill but are not in need of medical attention. For further information, call the Salisbury Council on Aging at 978-462-2412. end of story marker
