Cohasset police chief placed on paid leave

Acting Town Manager Michael Milanoski made the move on Friday, after learning of the complaints against DeLuca by the police union and its president, Patrick Reardon. In a statement, Milanoski said the town would investigate the merit of the allegations and could not comment or provide details until the investigation was complete.
In DeLuca’s absence, Cohasset Fire Chief Robert Silvia will temporarily oversee public safety for the town, while Deputy Police Chief Bill Quigley will manage day-to-day operations at the Police Department, Milanoski said.Daniel Adams can be reached at email@example.com.
